MUSIC MATTERS is now charting a new direction. All subsequent contributions will be used to ensure that the music department of the Brainerd School District remains vibrant in the future. Together we will continue to work with the BHS School Board and Administration to keep music an important part of the curriculum.
The Brainerd High School music program has a unique history and tradition. Much effort has gone into building these programs to a level of state and national prominence. We know what this reputation has meant to the lakes area and how this program has inspired countless students at Brainerd High School for over 60 years!
This is a wonderful opportunity to invest in the arts in the Brainerd Lakes Area. We need a great deal of money in a short amount of time and request your support.
Please send your check made out to the BRAINERD PUBLIC SCHOOL FOUNDATION with MUSIC MATTERS printed in the memo line. Please give generously. Individuals or businesses who give $1000 or more will become a member of the G-note Club and receive a three disc CD entitled, “Choral Reflections,” a compilation of Brainerd High School A Cappella Choir music under the direction of Michael Smith from the years 1967-1970 and 1984-2006.
